MISCELLANEOUS
The academy is designed to allow students the opportunity to take courses off campus that match their interests and passions. This is a way to tailor the academy to the individual global interests that matter most to them. Students must earn 3 units outside of the set courses. Students may earn these credits through academic travel opportunities, internships and college courses. Students who elect to take a college course will also earn a Seal of Excellence on their transcript.
TRAVEL OPTIONS
Travel programs are eligible to receive credits towards the Academy of Global Studies diploma. Students traveling in one of these programs will be enrolled in Global Perspectives for International Travelers through UCSD in order to receive credit. Trip organizers will have more information!
